I worked Thursday and Friday 12 hours each day. I worked as well today for about six and I'm tired. After working today I went to the grocery store and came home and put it away, cleaned the kitchen and here I am.
I never see my husband. We merely pass through the house always walking the opposite direction from each other. I get home from work, he leaves for work. I leave for work, he is sleeping.
I never thought it would get to be this way.
My daughter has been staying at her Nana's house this weekend and comes home tomorrow. I'm happy for her because she loves staying there. It's a nice break for her.
Tomorrow I need to clean the house, wash clothes and do homework. I just can't wait.
You know, I just realized that this blog is becoming a sort of "To Do" list. Lately I have been writing either what work I've done or what work I need to do. How freakin' boring is that! I apologize. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in what I need to get done or what I've already done that it is all I can think about.
Sometimes I just can't shut my mind down and it's tiring.

Well, at least your to do list is not fluffing around the house. It is up as a reminder. I do "to do" lists and only tick of a handful of things then just shift them to the next day - all the time. In fact, I think I should just have the important things like "get out of bed, get to work etc" and then one odd thing like "iron some clothes". Anything more than that and I freak. By the way, I think you work awfully hard...how do you do it?
May be that what you should try doing..."shuting down"
you sound like a lady I once knew oh! so well (moi) She had to get things done just so.. would not sleep if the dish were not done and getting stressed and not the best company to be with..
My dear your way to precious to allow your self get this stressed...so if the chores are not done for one day, would that be the end of the world?...No!
So please take so time out for yourself..you are just as important.
Stay Strong...
I don't have a 'to do' list. I have an 'Oh s***, I should've done...' list which is not quite as impressive.
I am so in awe of you - If I didn't know better, I would say that you are my sister in law who manages to do so much in every short 24 hour period.
Some day when you are feeling down about what you haven't managed to do, look at your online to do list and see what you have actually done. You are awesome missus!
what can I say? take a break. :)
seriously though, it's cool to get things done but if your whole life is run by the things you're supposed to be doing, that's a different story.
I don't know what to say that hasn't been said. I do agree with Linda though: pick your battles. some things are not worth stressing over in the long run or can be done less often. there's a quote that goes time spent on stuff that isn't that important to you is less time spent on your dreams. :)
hang in there, dear! God bless you and take care!
I totally know how you feel! I often wish I could be like Data from Star Trek TNG (I know, I'm a nerd) and turn myself off, or at least turn off my emotions like he does later in the movies.
btw, hi! I saw your profile on blogcatalog in my mental health group and I thought I'd say hello. Please check out my blog sometime, too. I'm going to add a link to your blog on mine as well. Have a great day!
